CONFERENCE REGISTRATION: CULTURE AND NATION IN THE CARIBBEAN"

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Education and a PhD in Educational Sciences, invited to the conference entitled "Culture and Nation in the Caribbean," which will feature Dr. Silvio Torres-Saillant.

Silvio Torres-Saillant is Associate Professor and Director of Latin American Studies Program at the University of New York and co-author of "The Dominican Americans." Blackness Dominican scholar and intellectual representative of the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Torres is Ph.D. and MA in Literature from the University of New York. It is also BA in Mass Communication from Brooklyn College, CUNY.

Dr. Torres-Saillant is multilingual with English skills, English, Portuguese, French, Latin and ancient Greek and has a Diploma in Ancient Greek, Greek / Latin Institute, CUNY Graduate School and Univ Center .
